New Season!

It's that time of year again!  A bit of snow has flown, you can finally dig that gear out and take it for a tune-up without looking ridiculous.  The Nitehawk Snowboard Club has been busy planning already, and here is what you need to know:
  • Registration: November 1, 2008. Annual Nitehawk Ski, Board & Bike Swap. TEC Centre at Evergreen Park. 9:00am-3:00pm.
  • Coaching: The more coaches we find, the more athletes we can accept.  If you are interested in coaching, email Aaron at aaronpenson@gmail.com
  • Website: http://www.nscgp.com
  • SnowBlog: You are reading this now, but make sure you subscribe in the lower left hand side of the SnowBlog.  Just enter your email address and click the subscribe button.  You will receive a confirmation email.  That's all there is to it, and now you can stay up to date with all the news!
  • Board Members: The Annual General Meeting was held on October 15, but there are still many positions open on the board.

 Think Snow!

Hi all; Just a quick note to let you know that Powder King opened this weekend and was alot of fun. Powder King is planning a new and improved terrain park that will hopefully be open the first part of January. They are planning on putting it on the front face of the mountain right under the chair lift for all those on the lift to see your fabulous talents. I guess they will be putting a tow rope at the terrain park as well.
